On the rare chance that you discover a problem, we will work with you to correct the issue. Should you discover a problem, please contact us immediately to get it resolved.

Shipping Guidelines

Create A Star ® LLC will handle your pictures and other media with the utmost care, however, we can not be held responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during shipping. For that reason, we encourage you to be very diligent in properly packing anything you send to us and perhaps even creating duplicates if possible before sending us the original. It is also recommended that for anything you send to us you use a reliable and trackable shipping service (UPS, USPS, etc.). We will do the same when sending everything back to you.

Copyright Information

Commercial recordings are copyrighted and must be legally purchased for use in your personalized video. To ensure the music used has been legally purchased and is compliant with copyright laws, we will purchase a copy of any music used for you. The cost has already calculated into our prices.

By submitting an order to Create A Star ® LLC, you (the customer) certify that the photos, videos, and/or other materials sent on this order are your personal property and acknowledge and agree that Create A Star ® LLC or its agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, direct, consequential or incidental arising out of customer's use of Create A Star ® LLC services. You (the customer) also warrant that the materials presented to Create A Star ® LLC or its agents for transfer are not to your knowledge protected by copyrights, or if the material is protected you (the customer) have legally purchased the material. You (the customer) further warrant that this order is to be used exclusively for private use and will not be commercially distributed. You (the customer) will hold Create A Star ® LLC harmless for any expenses that might arise by the reason of any infringement of copyright related to this order.

Create A Star ® LLC retains all rights to any materials it creates associated with this order.

DVD Compatibility

For our Personalized Music Videos, Create A Star ® LLC uses DVD formatting which is compatible with most existing home DVD players as well as computers/laptops equipped with a DVD drive. Please be sure to check your DVD player manual/manufacturer, especially if you have an older (up to 2004 vintage) or lower priced model, to determine if it supports DVD+R format. Q: Are my original photos altered in any way?
A: No. We make a digital copy of your photos for all touch up work. All of the changes occur to that file only. At no time is the original altered.

Q: What kind of care is given to my pictures and how are they returned to me?
A: We recognize the importance and sentiment of your photographs and treat them with the same quality care that we would give to our own photos. All your pictures and any other supplied media are returned to you with the shipment of your finished product.

Q: What photos look best in the video?
A: Preference should be given to pictures that are clear, in focus, well lighted, and without visual impairments. Of course this is not always possible, so use the best photos that you have available to you.

Q: What size pictures can be used for the video?
A: Pictures from 3.5 x 3.5 inches up to 8 x10 inches can be used. As part of our processing, the size of each photo is adjusted to fit the format of a television screen.

Q: Can black and white pictures be used?
A: Yes, black and white pictures, as well as sepia toned or hand colored photos can be used for the video. Pictures to be used to capture the face for a parody photo should be in color.

Q: Is the video a true DVD or just a slideshow?
A: Create A Star Music Videos are true DVD productions complete with opening menus, moving photos and video, digital transitional effects, and personalized DVD box covers and matching DVDs.
